Al-Anon/Alateen has one purpose - to help families and friends of alcoholics. It is a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experiences, strength and hope in order to solve their common problems. It is not a religious organization or counseling service, nor is it allied with any other organization offering such services.
